Did Forrest Fenn really say that he didn’t hide his treasure chest in Yellowstone?
On June 26, 2018, I emailed Yellowstone Park Superintendent Dan Wenk, but I didn’t hear back from him because he wasn’t available at the time, so I got in touch with his secretary on the phone, and she told me that Forrest had assured them that his treasure chest wasn’t placed in Yellowstone Park. I posted this online, and that's probably what some YouTuber was using for his statement that Forrest said he didn't hide his treasure chest in Yellowstone. So, that statement didn't come from Forrest but from Superintendent Dan Wenk's secretary to me, and then I posted it online.
I’ve been in the Chase since September or October of 2016, and I can say without any doubt that Forrest never said that his treasure chest was not in Yellowstone, nor did he ever say that it was.
